Andy Israelson has nearly a decade of experience in the energy and infrastructure space, developing and financing solar, energy storage, and environmental projects across North America and deploying over $250M in investments. Andy currently serves as a vice president of business development at Convergent Energy + Power, where he oversees all M&A activity and crafting Convergent’s strategy for utility-scale front-of-the-meter energy storage applications in the United States. Prior to joining Convergent, Andy worked as both a financial analyst and a solar + storage development manager at E.ON Climate and Renewables. This builds on Andy’s experience at Covanta focusing on energy and waste management investments.

Andy holds a BS in Business & Economics from Lehigh University and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business at the University of Texas at Austin. Although he is a born and bred New Yorker, Andy loves Texas and is proud to call Austin home.
