BRAD SCHWARZ

Hunt Utility Services
Brad Schwarz is Director of Planning for Hunt Utility Services and has more than 16 years of electric industry experience. Mr. Schwarz manages the Hunt and Sharyland transmission planning activities within the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT).
Prior to joining Hunt, Mr. Schwarz was a Transmission Manger for E.ON North America, LLC (E.ON) where he was involved with the interconnection activities and regulatory affairs for E.ON’s ERCOT and SPP assets. During his tenure at E.ON, Brad helped interconnect the E.ON ERCOT portfolio from a few hundred megawatts of installed wind capacity to over two gigawatts of installed capacity in less than five years.
Prior to E.ON, Brad worked as a Senior Planning Engineer at ERCOT where he was an integral part of the team that was responsible for the Competitive Renewable Energy Zone (CREZ) transmission optimization studies approved by the PUCT in 2008.
Mr. Schwarz has an MBA from The University of Texas at Dallas and a BSEE from The University of Texas at Austin.
